We’ve joined the Diversity Project to help make a positive change
We are delighted to announce that we have become members of the Diversity Project, whose aim is to recruit, nurture and retain the first truly diverse generation of Savings and Investment professionals.
The Diversity Project believes that recognisable and measurable progress can be achieved over a five-year time frame. They aim to achieve diversity across all dimensions, including gender, ethnicity, socio-economic background, LGBTI+, age and disability. Its purpose is to accelerate progress towards an inclusive culture in the investment and savings profession. Such a culture across all levels supports more effective teamwork, gives wider perspectives, better investment decisions, better results for our clients and ultimately more sustainable businesses.
We joined the Project because it affords us the opportunity to combine our voice and energy with others’ to work together to make positive change. Not only do we want to help make that change, but we also want to let our talent, clients and broader network know that diversity is important to us and we want to make an impact.
People from across Cardano and Lincoln Pensions will have the opportunity to get involved in many of the Project’s workstreams. In addition, Darren Redmayne, CEO of Lincoln Pensions, will join the CEO Advisory Council and will help set strategic priorities for the Diversity Project and ensure each member firm is engaged.
As well as Darren’s senior involvement, Dana Day, Business Development Director at Cardano, will join the Diversity Project Steering Committee and bring information on events, initiatives and priorities back to Lincoln and Cardano on a regular basis and will help activate and grow the new trustee/asset owner work stream.
